Wallacia Public School

Wallacia Public School serves a small semi-rural community located fifteen kilometres from Penrith. Students are drawn from the village residential area and surrounding small properties. With an enrolment of approximately 50 students, Wallacia Public School provides all the advantages of a small school environment. The school is characterised by high expectations of students and staff and focuses on providing a quality education for every child. Priority teaching and learning areas include Literacy, Numeracy and Technology with impressive results and growth across NAPLAN and Check-in assessment. Students are also provided with a broad range of opportunities in the Creative Arts and Sport. There is a strong emphasis on high standards of student behaviour, with teachers and students working together to promote a safe and happy learning environment. The school is an active member of the Nepean Valley Small Schools Network. There is an active Parents and Citizens Association, and community involvement in school life is encouraged. WigWam Out of School Hours care operates on the school site.
