North Wagga Public School
North Wagga Public School is a learning community where the positive partnership between students, staff and parents ensures the best possible learning outcomes are achieved by all students.The school achieves its mission through the development of quality educational programs and learning experiences. Literacy remains a focus and maths groups continue to provide a successful approach to the teaching of the number strand. A computer room, built in 2008, and the ongoing provision of Smartboards to classrooms ensures that technology is supported by appropriate hardware and software. Student Welfare programs address a wide range of areas including Peer Support, Leadership, Kindergarten Transition Programs and the Student Representative Council. Students have access to an extensive range of learning opportunities which allow them to discover and develop their talents and skills. Students participate in a range of activities such as verse speaking eisteddfods, The CHORDS choir and the Tournament of Minds. Sporting opportunities include knock out gala days, athletics and swimming carnivals and the special swimming scheme.The students are supported by an experienced and dedicated staff.
