Toronto Public School
Toronto Public school was first established in 1890 and has a proud tradition of building positive, constructive relationships with students and caregivers. The school celebrates an inclusive culture with both mainstream and special education classes and is renowned for nurturing all students. We promote excellence, tolerance of differences and respect for each other. Our 2018-2020 School Plan is focused on the development of empowered learners, expert teachers and strong leaders. We are committed to providing quality teaching and learning programs and effective wellbeing programs to ensure students are learning in a safe, positive and rewarding environment. We maintain strong links with our local high school, Toronto High, to ensure effective and supportive transition programs and have a highly supportive Parents and Citizens Association which contribute greatly to the school. At Toronto Public School we believe every child can be successful.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
