Tarcutta Public School is a unique small school 45km east of Wagga Wagga, ideally situated halfway between Sydney and Melbourne. In recent years there has been a significant growth in enrolments. Attractive buildings and grounds, excellent resources and friendly students make Tarcutta Public School a highly sought after place for parents to choose for their child's formative years of schooling. Whilst we are a small school we have a very strong connection to our Wagga Wagga Community of Small Schools' network. Tarcutta Public School is small enough to cater for the needs of each child and with our collective Community of Small Schools' group we are able to provide a variety of educational, cultural and sporting events. With many combined excursions, author study days, mixed sports days and other visits our students are well placed when they head off to high school. They have had multiple opportunities to lead and to learn how to make new friends easily, which places them in good stead in high school as they are confident in their own capabilities.
