Stuart Town Public School

Stuart Town Public School is a small rural school with excellent facilities including well-resourced classrooms and aesthetically pleasing school grounds. The school recognises that learning is a continuous, lifelong process requiring the active engagement of all learners. The attendance rate of students has been higher than the state and regional averages resulting in elevated participation in all planned school and community events. All students are encouraged to participate in a range of curriculum areas both within and outside the school environment. The school motto, 'With Pride, We Strive' encapsulates the focus of learning and self-discipline engendered within the school. The school strives to provide a caring and supportive environment where students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning, behaviour and environment. The physical aspects of the school reflect school and community pride in the history of the local area over the past one hundred and fifty years.

Cooler Classrooms Program

The NSW Government is committed to providing students with healthy and comfortable learning environments. That’s why we’ve invested a record $500 million to provide a sustainable air conditioning program for NSW schools.

To ensure the NSW Government responds to the needs of students in the hottest parts of the State, we will provide air conditioning in classrooms and libraries at schools that experience a mean maximum January temperature of 30°C and above.

Schools that sit below 30°C will be able to apply for funding to receive air conditioning in their classrooms and libraries, allowing more schools to benefit from air conditioning than ever before.

This school has a mean maximum January temperature of 30°C and above and will form part of the NSW Government’s priority program. School Infrastructure NSW will be in contact with the school as the program continues to roll out.
