Stratford Public School
Stratford Public School is a small rural school situated in the village of Stratford, 13kms from Gloucester. Students attend from the villages of Wards River, Craven and Stratford itself. The school is part of the Bucketts Way Community of Schools and participates in many combined activities including sporting, cultural and academic activities. The school is well resourced with a strong focus on every student reaching their full potential. Students' individual differences are well catered for in all six Key Learning Areas especially in numeracy and literacy. Another positive aspect is that the school is well supported by the wider community and enjoys many extra curricular activities including a Parent and Citizens Association Committee, a specialised music program and an Active After School Communities (AASC) program which provides students with opportunities to develop their physical skills in a variety of sporting and cultural activities. This positive support encourages and helps foster a spirit of co-operation between the students, the school, the parents and the community.
