Oakdale Public School

Oakdale Public School is a small school in the semi-rural area of the Burragorang Valley. The school is a feeder school for Camden High and many students attend local pre-schools at The Oaks. The school is well-resourced with permanent buildings including a library and hall. Technology has an increasing focus with computers and whiteboards in classrooms. The school's grounds are spacious and attractive. This welcoming learning environment is a feature of our school. A high level of community support and involvement is also a feature. The school community shares a commitment to promoting a love of learning, strengthening literacy and numeracy skills, and ensuring that learning programs enhance student welfare, confidence and self-esteem. In addition to quality programs in the six key learning areas, wider opportunities are offered to all students in the performing arts, music, sport and public speaking. Such opportunities enable students to develop their particular interests and skills. The school motto 'I Strive' reflects the ethos of our school. Participation is highly valued and actively promoted. Student and school achievements are always celebrated with great pride.
