Nords Wharf Public School
Nords Wharf is a wonderful community focussed public school situated on the south eastern shores of Lake Macquarie. We serve the Nords Wharf, Cams Wharf, Catherine Hill Bay and Murrays Beach areas. Our school values personal endeavour, teamwork, staff and student wellbeing and community participation.We have excellent, dedicated, caring teachers and friendly, helpful support staff. Strong working partnerships have been developed between the school staff and the parents and community members.Our students are encouraged to strive to their best. This is reflected in our school motto, "Forever Onward". We also encourage them to maximise their learning opportunities and so we provide opportunities for performing arts (dance, band, choir, guitar), sport and excursions (extended, overnight excursions for stage 3) as well as ensuring that sound literacy and numeracy foundations are laid. We also develop Information and Communication Technology skills through the use of Interactive Whiteboards and a well resourced computer lab.We are very proud of our school.
