Nemingha Public School
Nemingha Public School is situated 10 km from the city of Tamworth and has an enrolment of approximately 205 students. Our school provides an excellent standard of education which is reflected in the school’s commendable nationwide and school-based achievements. Dedicated and accomplished teachers inspire a love of learning while catering for the needs of all students. Highly competent office and support staff work well beyond their roles to ensure the administration of the school runs efficiently, and students requiring assistance are supported in all aspects of their school life. Enthusiastic parents and community members assist the school to ensure our students have access to the latest resources and extra-curricular activities through our very active Parent’s and Citizen’s Association and School Council. Students are well behaved, respectful and cooperative. They make the most of every learning opportunity including extra-curricular activities such as guitar and violin lessons, Active After Schools Activities, gardening, and the many and varied activities which make up our school wide environmental program.The school is a modern, attractive and well-resourced school, with state-of-the-art technology including interactive whiteboards in every classroom, computer access for all students and video conferencing facilities. Our grounds are expansive and well maintained. Covered Outdoor Learning Areas, covered playground equipment, cricket pitch, basketball court and large oval ensure students experience a vast range of sporting opportunities and provide local sporting clubs with facilities to run local competitions outside school hours.
