Mullion Creek Public School

Mullion Creek Public School was established in 1881 in the village of Mullion Creek, 19 kms north of Orange. Pride in the school is evident by the extensive gardens and play areas and the fact that long-standing district families continue to support the school. In addition, an increasing number of new parents from both the local area and the City of Orange have discovered the benefits of a small school education for their children. Our core values are Care, Respect, Friendship and Learning. These values are met through a team approach and parents and the community are encouraged to be involved in day-to-day activities. Students are given the opportunity of taking part in sporting, cultural and academic events throughout the year as a means of broadening their horizons both intellectually, physically and socially. We strive to provide students with many varied experiences and opportunities to help increase their confidence, self-esteem and ability to perform in any situation. Special emphasis is placed on literacy and numeracy as we incorporate creative and practical arts, the environment and information technology in all learning situations. Mullion Creek is an Award winning school.
