Mount Hunter Public School
Mount Hunter Public School is located in a semi-rural area close to Camden. Within its attractive parkland setting and well maintained grounds the school is committed to students striving for high academic achievement through quality teaching and learning and a strong welfare ethic. Through the Camden Community of Schools there has developed strong cooperative ties with local primary schools and Camden High School ensuring a smooth transition for students from Mount Hunter to the high school. The school promotes the ideal of a 'Family School' encouraging strong home-school relationships, commonly agreed and shared values and the development of real family-school partnerships in the provision of quality education to our students. We endeavour to provide a secure and stimulating environment for personal growth, where a rich and varied curriculum is presented which enables all students to strive for high academic achievement. The school endeavours to promote an attitude of independence and self-reliance in order to prepare students as life-long learners.
