Milperra Public School
Milperra Public School is located in South West Sydney with approximately 240 students. The area is very established and enrolments have been in steady increase. Due to its unique history as a soldier settlement school for the children of returned servicemen, Milperra Public School is able to draw on a strong community commitment in both scholastic and sporting ventures. The school aims to provide quality teaching and learning, up to date technology in a stimulating, secure and pleasant environment where children are encouraged to develop to their full potential for learning in the 21st Century. The Parents and Citizens Association is critical to the education and development of all the children at Milperra. Many members of our school community willingly give their time and commitment to assist in classrooms, sport, canteen, fundraising, uniform shop and in many other ways throughout the year.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
