Medowie Public School
Medowie Public School proudly serves the local area of Medowie and is a school where children are given the opportunity for success in a vibrant, caring learning community. Students are encouraged to achieve their best in a safe, secure and supportive environment. Our school shares the core values of the NSW Department of Education in partnership with our school community by displaying and striving for excellence, integrity, equity, accountability, trust and service. Medowie has professional, dedicated, caring teachers and friendly helpful support staff. Strong working partnerships continue to be maintained and further developed between staff, parents and the wider community. Our children are encouraged to do their best and this is reflected in both our school motto 'Futuris Nobis' and our school expectations of 'Respectful, Responsible and Resilient'. We also provide opportunities for our children to excel in extra curricular activities, providing learning activities in areas including performing arts (dance, drama, percussion, and band), sport and excursions (extended overnight excursions for Stages 2 and 3).
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
