Mayrung Public School
The school aims to provide a quality education to maximise the learning potential for all students. It recognises that every student has the same basic needs for physical, social, emotional and intellectual satisfaction, which is provided through identified programs. The school provides the opportunity for students to reach their potential in a caring, sharing, learning environment where individual differences are acknowledged and valued. Programs are provided which encourage active learning, self-confidence, technical expertise and community awareness. The school has positive support from parents and community members who take an active interest in our learning programs and physical environment of our school. Strong partnerships with other local schools provide students with a wide variety of social and educational opportunities.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
