Lowesdale Public School
Lowesdale Public School, situated 19km from Corowa on the Riverina Highway is a rural PP6 school. The school is a valued part of the local community catering for individual student learning needs. Quality programs are implemented focusing on the academic, social, sporting and emotional needs of Lowesdale students. Specialist art and music teachers are employed to further extend the broad but balanced curriculum offered. Active problem solving, cooperation and commitment to learning are fostered in a stimulating learning environment. The core values of integrity, responsibility, excellence, health, care, respect and happiness are supported by parents and staff working together. Students are encouraged to believe that they can make a difference to their environment and to those around them through their attitudes and actions. Students have performed well in University of NSW competitions and they have been recognised in local and national art competitions, including the International Children's Art Exhibition held in Nagoya(Japan). Lowesdale Public School is a member of the Coreen Small School Network and the Bangerang Learning Community.
