Lowanna Public School aims to produce happy, confident, well-educated children who are realising their full potential personally and academically and are enthusiastic about the opportunities and experiences presented. This is facilitated through effective learning programs that suit the needs of every child, a school climate which ensures children find school a happy and productive place to be, an attractive physical environment which enhances comfort and wellbeing, clearly defined goals and high expectations of everyone in the school, close monitoring of performance and achievement, staff commitment to ongoing learning and acquisition of skills, parental involvement and support in a variety of areas and collaborative leadership which emphasises excellence in curriculum delivery.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories.
