LPS has an excellent reputation in sporting participation and results. Fitness and healthy lifestyle choices are key components of the school operation.LPS offers students opportunities in dance, drama, singing, debating, chess, eco-gardening and other cultural pursuits. Recent representation in Schools Spectacular, Riverina Dance Festival, KROP, Premiers Spelling Bee, Premiers Debating Challenge and chess tournaments highlights this.All classrooms have interactive whiteboards and also have access to video conferencing facilities so as to enable students to be at the 'cutting edge' of learning. Recently students attended a 'virtual excursion' to The Great Barrier Reef. All teachers have been and continue to attend professional development activities so as to stay abreast of the most up-to-date teaching methods.The school aims to provide quality education with an experienced, dedicated staff strongly committed to high standards, personal excellence and modern trends. LPS is situated in close proximity to tertiary and secondary facilities, sharing a multipurpose centre with the high school.
