Lambton Public School
Established in 1865, Lambton Public School has a long-standing and proud tradition of providing a comprehensive education to the children of the socio-economically and culturally diverse communities of Lambton and North Lambton. Academic achievement, physical wellbeing, student welfare and positive behavioural outcomes are characteristic features of the school. The community has a strong sense of ownership of the school and the school is integral to the identity of the community. In addition to excellent programs in literacy and numeracy, school strengths include visual arts, music, sport and environmental initiatives. Specific programs to enrich and extend the learning of gifted and talented students , as well as programs to support and remediate the learning of those struggling to achieve grade expectations are incorporated within the curriculum. This provides a rich and engaging learning environment across all stages and ahievement levels.
