Lake Wyangan Public School
Lake Wyangan Public School is a beautiful small rural school 5 kilometres north of Griffith. The school is part of the village of Lake Wyangan but incorporates a much larger district with a diverse mix of residential and farming areas slowly being encroached on by Griffith City. Our school is a safe, caring and happy place that draws students from a range of socio-economic backgrounds. The staff is committed to the wellbeing of students and to excellence in education. The parents and community are supportive and passionate and the students demonstrate positive values, academic growth and excellent citizenship. Each student is developed through the key learning areas. Participation in a broad variety of extra-curricular activities including sport, community events, creative arts, choir and academic competitions is strongly fostered. Individual students are encouraged to develop to their full potential.
