Laggan Public School

Laggan Public School is a progressive, well-resourced village school providing students with quality education and learning experiences in a supportive and caring environment. Practical, flexible and highly individualised instruction ensures that learning outcomes are maximised offering students the best opportunity to succeed and achieve their full potential in the academic strands of the curriculum, in sport, the arts and in cultural programs. Respect and responsibility are an integral part of our school's core values. Students take on roles within and outside the school, deepening their understanding of these important values. Student welfare is a priority with a SRC that promotes positive relationships, organises activities and raises funds for charities and the school. Peer Support Groups foster self-esteem, leadership and harmony. Year 6 students attend The Young Leaders Conference with School Leaders representing our school at community and official functions. Kinderstart assists preschoolers with transition to school while high school taster lessons are provided for Year 6 students. Students represent our school at district, region or state in swimming, cross country, athletics and hockey.
