Kyogle Public School
Students enrolled at Kyogle Public School live in the township of Kyogle and the surrounding rural areas. We cater for the educational needs of a wide and diverse community with a broad socio-economic range. Our focus on improving the curriculum and increasing the children's engagement in learning has seen many of our long-term goals being realised. An increasing proportion of the children are consistently achieving at or beyond expectations. While we have set high expectations for achievement they are realistic. Expectations are formed around the syllabus standards, the capabilities of the individual child and the school's values. The energy and enthusiasm that staff provide for the students' welfare and learning means every child has success in some areas. Professional training over several years has positioned the teachers well to improve the overall rate of student learning. They work collaboratively to develop high quality teaching and learning programs. The flow of information and support between staff and parents is a prime reason for the school having the positive culture that it enjoys. Our school is ever changing and growing to meet the needs of the students.
