Kirkton Public School
Kirkton is in the beautiful rural area of Lower Belford near Branxton in the Hunter Valley. We take pride in the high level of care, support and encouragement given to our students. Students are valued as individuals and are supported in achieving their best results. Staff are dedicated to delivering a quality teaching environment and promoting equity for students. A wide range of academic, cultural and sport activities is offered. We have a history of strong achievement across all these areas. Kirkton has outstanding parental support and many of our current students have had parents and grandparents who completed their primary schooling at Kirkton. Kirkton is part of a strong network within the Singleton Learning Community and also works in partnership with other local small Schools to further enhance the opportunities available to our students. The school motto 'Achieve with Pride' continues to be a most appropriate one for Kirkton school.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
