Jindera Public School maintains strong traditions in academic achievement, sport and performances. The school aims to realise the full potential of each child by developing their skills, attitudes and understandings. This is supported by providing a positive and caring environment with an emphasis on student welfare. The school caters for all students' learning needs with specialised programs including Reading Recovery, English as a Second Language and homework support. The staff is committed to improving student learning outcomes through continuous professional learning and development and a genuine caring and nurturing attitude towards all students.The school's focus areas include Literacy and Numeracy, Science and Technology/Human Society and its Environment and Creative Arts. We maintain a strong tradition of academic, sporting and creative achievement with opportunities for all students to participate in sporting competitions such as Primary School Sports Association (PSSA) and representative teams. Students also have opportunities to participate in language learning, dance and music programs, art and other performance events through our cultural program.
