Jerrys Plains Public School

Jerrys Plains Public School is a P5 school 38kms north west of Singleton, in the lower Hunter Valley. Our heritage-listed buildings are complemented by extensive, well-kept grounds, and boast peaceful rural outlooks. Our School values of Respect, Organisation, Commitment, Kindness and Safety are promoted through Positive Behaviour for Learning, our student wellbeing framework. Student learning begins in the School's comprehensive transition-to-school program, "Ready4School", sponsored by Coal & Allied Community Development Fund, and encompasses all facets of development: physical, cognitive, technological, creative, social and emotional. We aim for academic excellence through relevant, challenging and purposeful educational programs, developed to meet individual learning needs. Positive interactions beween students, staff and families are supported through community-based involvement in the School's day-to-day operations. We are preparing our students for the 21st Century and instilling a lifelong love of learning.
