Illabo Public School
Illabo Public School is a small rural two-teacher school, situated in the township of Illabo. It sits beside the Olympic Highway between Junee and Cootamundra in the South West Slopes of NSW. The school was established in 1884 to service a local stone quarry and the railway. It now serves the surrounding rural farming community and the people living in the township itself. The school enjoys strong community support. 'Learn for Life' is the school motto on which we focus continually. We are committed to the provision of quality education for the students from Kindergarten to Year 6. We aim for a happy, secure working environment that encourages all students to achieve their best and to develop personally as part of the wider community.
