Huntingdon Public School
Huntingdon Public School is a small, rural school located 9 kms west of Wauchope. The school, in partnership with the school community, strives to provide the best education possible for its students in a happy, safe and caring environment. We encourage and expect all students to work to the best of their ability, become competent in literacy and numeracy, take responsibility, whenever possible, for their own learning, be respectful, courteous and helpful towards each other, take pride in themselves, their work and their school, make good use of their time and act responsibly, help in the effective running of our school through involvement in our Pupil School Council, have good self esteem, be confident and not be afraid to 'have a go.' In order for students to achieve their personal best they must want to come to school. Our pupil survey forms indicate that 100% of our pupils enjoy coming to school every day. At Huntingdon Public School we strive to provide students with teaching and learning experiences that not only cater for their individual needs but are also enjoyable. This philosophy is reflected in our school's motto which is 'Having Fun As We Learn.'
