Ermington Public School
Ermington Public School aims to foster an environment where students can strive to achieve their best emotionally, socially and intellectually to empower them to become responsible citizens. We are a school of 441 students, which includes students in our two Opportunity Classes. We have a proud tradition that dates back to 1888 and we take pride in delivering a quality education in a warm and caring environment. Ermington Public School is an innovative school, using current research to inform teaching, learning and welfare programs to ensure that we provide not only the best in literacy and numeracy programs but the broader skills associated with effective learning and thinking. Parents are actively encouraged to support our teaching and learning programs. There are also regular opportunities for teachers and parents to meet to discuss student progress and to enhance the home and school relationship to further support the educational goals of our students. Our school has leading technology programs and facilities which include interactive whiteboards in all classrooms. There is also a strong creative and performing arts program and all students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of instrumental and choral programs.
