Eden Public School
Eden Public School has been delivering quality public education to our community since 1857. We provide a safe, supportive environment within which students are encouraged to fulfil their individual potential. This is done through quality teaching and learning that is meaningful and relevant and provides students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need for the future. The school values are Respect, Responsibility and Resiliance. The school achieves its mission by focusing on Student Wellbeing, Aboriginal Education, Literacy, Numeracy and Information & Communication Technology. Unique features of the school are our student and staff leadership programs,targeted classes and K-6 class support programs. We are very proud of what we have achieved using Equity Funding for Aboriginal Education, School Leadership, Integration of Digital Media and Differentiated Curriculum. Additional resources provided to us because of our Low S.E.S. status have allowed us to implement literacy and numeracy programs, professional learning for staff, along with additional support programs for targeted students.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
