Dungay Public School
Dungay Public School is a dynamic small school of around 70 students on the northern outskirts of Murwillumbah. It has well maintained grounds, gardens and buildings, set in attractive spacious surroundings which contribute positively to the many features of the school. Dungay Public School engages staff in an ongoing focus on providing a safe and happy student learning environment. We provide comprehensive learning opportunities catering for all students' independent social, cultural and intellectual needs through the efforts of a highly experienced and committed staff. The school places great emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy programmes which are a focus from Kindergarten to Year Six. Dungay Public School is committed to its community values, beliefs and attitudes which are continually promoted throughout the school via many exciting student welfare programmes. At Dungay School, we aim to prepare students for responsible citizenship, to further their learning and encourage them to 'Seek, See and Achieve' while striving to do their personal best in all endeavours.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories.
