Douglas Park Public School
Douglas Park Public School provides the educational focus for the townships of Douglas Park, Menangle, Menangle Park, parts of Wilton and the semi-rural areas surrounding these townships on the outskirts of Sydney. The school maintains close links with the local community, businesses, employers, pre-schools, after-school care providers and Camden High School. It provides a comprehensive education that nurtures and develops the intellectual, creative, physical and emotional needs and qualities of students. As a relatively small school, it enjoys the benefits of strong, local, community-minded support. The school's comprehensive range of programs seek to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners from students with special needs to academically gifted and talented sportspeople. The curriculum is delivered in a warm, caring, friendly environment. Our mission is to maintain high expectations and high achievements. We are committed to a strong emphasis on citizenship through a values education program, physical fitness, sportsmanship and academic improvement, especially in the key competencies of literacy and numeracy.
