Cullen Bullen Public School

Cullen Bullen Public School is a small school located on the Castlereagh Highway 23 km west of Lithgow. The school was established in 1875 and is central to a number of coal mines and related industries. The site, playground, classroom and library combine to make a challenging learning environment which is conducive to developing pride, achievement, a work ethic, citizenship and a sense of worth in all who are associated with the school. The school's Parents and Citizens Association plays an active role through fund raising and working bee efforts. Students are provided with a comprehensive range of opportunities to participate in inter school and intra school, sporting, cultural and academic events each year. Cullen Bullen is an active participant in the Bathurst Small School Learning Community and the Western Gateway Learning Community.
