Corrimal Public School

Corrimal Public School, in the northern suburbs of Wollongong, was established in 1890. It has a tradition of offering quality educational programs over a number of generations. Teaching and learning programs are based upon excellence, equity and the promotion of personal achievement in a caring environment. There is a co-operative and supportive relationship between school and home. The school's motto is: 'Working Together'. Strong community involvement is an integral part of our teaching and learning programs with many opportunities for our school community to work together for our children. Corrimal Public School provides excellent resources for our students. Our facilities include a well resourced library, a newly upgraded school hall, a healthy canteen, flourishing vegetable gardens and outdoor learning areas. Technology enhances learning and is reflected in each classroom, with students having access to iPads, Laptops and Interactive Whiteboards on a daily basis. There are beautiful garden features throughout the grounds, as a result of our parents, students and staff working together to make environmental projects a priority. Our staff have a keen interest in the well being of every student. We promote academic success, cultural understanding, sporting achievement and positive social interactions through our School Values of "Respect, Safety and Learning".
