Coramba Public School

Coramba Public School is a place where student success and learning is our focus. We are a small, inclusive school that believes that all students can be successful and our staff demonstrate their commitment and care on a daily basis. Our dedication to learning for life sees us continually reflecting on our work to ensure all students feel safe, happy and a sense of achievement. Our school is student centered and students take an active part in creating and improving our learning environment. We are located in the beautiful Mid North coast, 15km west of Coffs Harbour. We are part of the Orara Valley Learning Community and we are surrounded by nature's gifts of rainforest, rivers and rare wildlife. Our learning programs make extensive use of technology and our modern classrooms provide the ideal environment for a variety of learning experiences. We encourage students to be creative, innovative and to set personal learning targets. We facilitate children to become independent and confident lifelong learners and strive for shared success and individual goals. We ensure that all students have opportunities to be involved in activities both locally and nationally in sport, creative arts, cultural and academic areas. We have strong links with the Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium  and have qualilfied music teachers teaching a variety of musical instruments. Our focus is on continual learning and the areas of Literacy, Numeracy, Social and Emotional Skills, Collaboration and Communication are central to assisting children to develop into confident, contributing global citizens. We are about quality, not quantity which results in deep learning, deep understanding and children who develop a love of learning.
