Copmanhurst Public School

Copmanhurst Public School is a small country school 30 kilometres from Grafton, set in the village of Copmanhurst, with extensive grounds providing a pleasant environment and wonderful sporting facilities. Through participation and achievement in all Key Learning Areas, our students positively engage in learning experiences which help develop each child academically, physically, socially and culturally. Opportunities, activities and challenges, which are offered to all students, take place in a school atmosphere that is safe and happy. Our experienced school staff provide students with a foundation in literacy and numeracy, through quality teaching and learning practices, commitment, enthusiasm and care.Our students' behaviour and enthusiasm, both at school and when representing Copmanhurst Public School in the wider community,are a credit to them and the school they represent. Our students achieve in all KLAs, including Credits and Distinctions in International Academic Competitions, eisteddfod shields and art/craft awards. The school enjoys a strong relationship with its parents. Communication is promoted and opportunities for parent/teacher dialogue are manifold.
