Connells Point Public School strives to provide a caring, stimulating and supportive environment in which children are encouraged to become self-motivated, cooperative learners while actively pursuing their personal best in academic, cultural, physical and social programs. Our school focuses on developing excellent skills in literacy and numeracy through challenging and enriching learning programs, in a well-resourced and attractive environment. Central to all programs is building a trusting and respectful relationship between students and teachers and an effective and supportive partnership with parents and carers. The school features extensive performing arts and sporting programs which promote participation, commitment and a team ethic. The development of positive values, strong social skills, independence, confidence and respect for self and others are the cornerstones on which successful learning for life is built. The school provides many avenues for students to experience personal success and achievement, and to recognise and extend the range of talents and abilities which our students possess. Our commitment is to assist each child to develop into a person of whom we, as parents and teachers, can be justly proud.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories.
