Collarenebri Central School
Collarenebri Central School is a Kindergarten to Year 12 school situated in the north west of New South Wales. Our school is a caring environment in which every student receives the best learning opportunities. We offer flexible learning programs tailored to the individual learning styles and needs of all students.The school has a wide curriculum for its secondary students who have access to TAFE courses and to other schools via the Northern Borders Senior Access program using a video-conferencing system. Special emphasis is placed on literacy and numeracy and the effective use of technology. Our school is well resourced and provides student access to the latest technologies to enhance learning. The school sets high expectations and is promoting the standards expected in the community for children to become respectful young adults and valued community members. The development of social skills and the enhancement of each student's self esteem, confidence and motivation is embedded in all teaching/learning activities.We work in close partnership with parents and the wider community. Parents are encouraged to be active participants in school activities and to have input into their child's education.
