Chillingham Public School is a small school set in the beautiful Numinbah Valley. Our students are nurtured in a safe, supportive environment and encouraged to achieve their potential. High standards of teaching and learning are achieved with a strong emphasis on numeracy and literacy across the key learning areas. Our school motto: 'Success Through Teamwork' is a statement of our belief that to develop the whole child and enhance the school community, teamwork and a spirit of cooperation between students, staff and parents are essential. Our students are encouraged to pursue standards of high quality in academic and cultural endeavours. Respect for the rights and opinions of others is central to our school's ethos. A highly motivated and skilled staff assists the students in areas of specialisation and in general classroom activities. Our Welfare Policy provides the basis for consistent and considerate development and management of our students' social, physical and emotional skills and needs. It aims to reward the students for their efforts and to achieve and maintain high standards. Our students are happy, literate, lifelong learners.
