Caringbah Public School

Caringbah Public School is a welcoming school, supported by an active Parents and Citizens Committee, experienced and talented staff and committed students. Student wellbeing is a high priority along with excellence in all Key Learning Areas. The school prides itself on providing a balanced and inclusive curriculum that caters for a wide range of student needs. There is a strong emphasis on academic excellence with programs that include many extra-curricular activities to allow for the development of the whole child.  Many times this gives our students an opportunity to discover new interests and provide a challenge beyond their experience so far in their life of learning at school.  Staff at Caringbah PS endeavour to develop the most effective ways to help our students learn and respect the individuality and achievement of each student in all areas of school life - academic, cultural, sporting and leadership. The values of public education are promoted through all areas of the curriculum to ensure a strong sense of purpose for our students in this community. The school offers large grassed playing fields, an excellent library and access to technology including two computer labs, two connected classroom and video facilities and interactive whiteboards in every classroom.  The school has implemented "bringing your own device" (BYOD) programs in our classrooms. Our highly successful performing arts program includes band, choir and dance, implemented and delivered by a talented and dedicated staff. Community involvement is a feature at Caringbah with parents supporting literacy and numeracy programs and all facets of school life. This contributes enormously to the successful reputation that Caringbah has for its provision of a caring, quality learning environment where students feel encouraged to go beyond their comfort zones and accept a challenge in their learning.  It is well known to become stronger more resilient, creative people, we must challenge ourselves to push our physical, emotional and learning boundaries.  This is what we hope to achieve for our students - that they are the best they can be, and help others be the best they can be.
