Burnside Public School, situated in spacious and attractive grounds in the Sydney suburb of North Parramatta, has provided quality education for students since 1922. Our school motto, 'Omnia Pro Bono', meaning for the good of all, is fundamental to the school's philosophy and planning. A recent building program has seen the addition of a new library and double classroom to the existing beautiful historic site. The school is committed to providing high quality education to meet the needs of all students. We acknowledge different learning styles and individual rates of development. This commitment has led to the school’s outstanding academic results, sporting success and extensive creative arts programs. There is a strong emphasis on student welfare and to the development of students’ skills in literacy, numeracy and technology. Broad selections of extra-curricular activities are available to students including a band program, choir, dance, PSSA sport, debating and public speaking, . As a result of the tremendous support and involvement of the community, the school enjoys outstanding facilities and resources.
