Bulahdelah Central School
Bulahdelah Central School serves a supportive community located on the Myall River midway between Forster and Tea Gardens on the lower north coast of NSW. The school has an enrolment of approximately 540 students with about 30 being from an Aboriginal background. Our school has completed the first stages of a major capital works program which has provided new science laboratories, general learning spaces, a specific purpose middle school complex, art and TAS facilities and a gymnasium. These modern facilities provide a physical learning environment that complements the comprehensive educational programs that operate for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. In our unique educational setting students achieve excellent academic results as well as preparation for a wide range of Vocational Education careers. The school's focus areas include Quality Teaching and student engagement with a strong emphasis on middle years initiatives (Years 5 to 8). The school is developing best practice use of data to enhance student outcomes. Bulahdelah Central School is also committed to integrating technology into effective classroom practice and has previously been involved in a partnership with DET and Microsoft to develop innovative practices.
