Bolwarra Public School is a vibrant and evolving learning community of 415 students, their supportive families and a dedicated, experienced and highly professional staff. Working together in a collaborative partnership, Bolwarra school community provides a creative and positive learning environment where your child's individual needs are met, whilst providing opportunities to succeed and excel. Along with a strong academic focus, our school offers a range of additional programs that address the wider learning, social and developmental needs of all students. Our values and beliefs centre on developing the values underpinned by our Positive Behaviour for Learning; Safe Respectful Learners.  The school’s educational, management and curriculum practices are evaluated annually through a variety of tools measuring school and external data. The opinions of staff, students, parents and care-givers are canvassed and results are published in our Annual School Report. The Parents and Citizens Association play an integral part in the wealth of additional opportunities provided throughout each school year. They play a vital role in supporting school programs as well providing canteen and a school uniform shop. Our school motto is 'Success through Effort'. Our Vision Statement is " A connective and cohesive school community that aspires to develop the social, emotional and academic skills of its learners by providing a high quality and relevant curriculum, producing individuals that make ethical and constructive choices about their personal, educational and social behaviours."Our three strategic directions for 2018-2020 are: Empowered Learners; Excellence in Teaching, and Leading Community. In 2018 the school will undertake an extensive capital works program that will include the construction of 10 new classrooms, a new library, a new special purpose room and upgraded administration facilities. These works are anticipated to be completed for the beginning of the 2019 school year.
