Blackville Public School

Blackville Public School is a small rural school situated on the picturesque and productive Liverpool Plains. The support of our active Parents and Citizens and School Council, together with strategic use of Country Area Program funding, ensures Blackville Public School is very well-resourced in both the human and physical sense. We are able to achieve outstanding outcomes for our students by supporting student learning through excellent student-teacher ratios, as well as quality teaching and learning programs. Our excellent programs in Literacy and Numeracy, Creative Arts and Sport and Technology compensate for our geographic isolation and integrate our students into the wider community. At Blackville Public School we foster a cooperative, caring learning environment where students develop the skills, knowledge, attitudes and values to become lifelong learners and well-rounded citizens. Our school motto 'Strive to Achieve' symbolises the value we place on attaining personal excellence.
