Ardlethan Central School

Ardlethan Central School is a K-12 school in the Riverina Region of South Western NSW. Our mission is to deliver quality education and training that inspires all students to succeed. The core value of our school is about trying your best, not simply about being the best. Our motto, 'Play the Game', encapsulates this. The focus and strength of the school is the ability to provide tailored and individualised learning opportunities for every child from Kindergarten to Year 12. Destination surveys highlight successful school-to-work initiatives, whereby students only leave school for permanent work, further study or tertiary entry of their choice. Ardlethan Central School provides a wide range of successful programs with a high proportion of students representing the school and achieving to a high standard at Regional, State and National levels in academic, cultural and sporting pursuits throughout the Primary and Secondary faculties. The school is constantly building collaborative relationships with other schools, striving for continual improvement in the provision of quality education for our students. The school is the hub of the Riverina Access Partnership, a highly successful and innovative connected learning community delivering Preliminary and HSC courses to students across a partnership of schools. Our aim is to provide children with the necessary skills and abilities to gain choice: be it full time employment, tertiary or university entry of their preference, coupled with the independence and discipline to determine, develop and maintain the direction they want to go in life. We consistently have students perform at the highest levels academically in Primary and Secondary arenas. Our students finish in the very top percentiles of their courses from Primary through to Secondary, School Certificate and Higher School Certificate. We take pride in our ability to recognise and demonstrate the improvement of our students' growth in learning for each individual child, irrespective of perceived ability. For the teachers of Ardlethan Central School, our discussions are not about what children can't do; but what they can.
