Abbotsford Public School, located on a peninsula on the Parramatta River, is situated in spacious grassy grounds with extensive tree cover. Families are drawn from a diverse community with a broad cultural mix. A Council-operated Long Day Care Centre and Parent -operated Before and After School Care are available on site. School facilities include all classrooms with Interactive Whiteboards and Air Conditioning, a well-stocked Library, healthy Canteen, School Hall as a Performing Arts space, synthetic oval, outdoor play equipment and exploratory garden areas. Quality and innovation in Teaching Programs K-6, Performing Arts, Computer Technology, Personal Development and Sport are highlights of the school’s Rich Learning Environment. Strong achievement levels in Literacy and Numeracy are complemented by quality programs in the other Key Learning Areas to provide a broad K-6 foundation for all students. Enrichment and Learning Support programs also support the provision of high quality education for all students.
