As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the 2025-26 Budget is delivering record education funding, including $9 billion for new and upgraded schools. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.
The NSW Government has made a commitment that every student in NSW will have guaranteed access to a co-educational public high school by 2027. The proposed strategy includes the co-educational Northern Beaches Secondary College (NBSC) - Freshwater Senior Campus to expand from a Year 11-12 campus to a Year 7-12 campus, with the NSW Government to deliver upgraded facilities to accommodate a larger student cohort.
