As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the NSW Budget is delivering record education funding, including $9 billion for new and upgraded schools. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.

We are delivering an upgrade to Narrabeen Sports High School.

With refurbishment of Block C and Block K now complete, the next stage is the addition of a brand new performance hall for the school.

The benefits

Completed upgrades as part of this project include:

the technological and applied studies (TAS) classrooms and student and staff amenities in Block A
classrooms in Block C
classrooms, performance space and music rooms in Block K
renewal of the science labs, prep rooms, and chemical storerooms in Block B
classrooms and amenities in Block E
amenities in Block D
the replacement of roofs in Blocks B, C, D, and E, and part of Block A.

Progress summary

The refurbishment of the final 21 classrooms in Block C is now complete. The building has been handed back to the school and is now in use by students and staff.
The final work on Block K included the upgrade to the performance space and music rooms. This work is now complete and the block was handed back to the school in February 2026.
Planning for the removal of 6 demountable buildings on the school grounds is currently underway to make room for the new performance hall.

Designs of Narrabeen Sports High School's new performing arts hall revealed

NSW Government has revealed designs for the new performing arts hall being built at Narrabeen Sports High School, as other much needed upgrades are being delivered at the school.

Community information session

You are invited to attend a community information session to find out more about the new performance hall and refurbishments works to Block C and K that will be delivered at Narrabeen Sports High School. You will be able to view the designs and speak to the project team.
