J J Cahill Memorial High School upgrade

The NSW Government is committed to expanding high potential and gifted education (HPGE) opportunities in NSW public schools. This includes a multi-million-dollar investment into the HPGE Partner School Program.

Under the program, 33 high schools including J J Cahill Memorial High School will receive facility upgrades to accommodate increased enrolments, broaden educational opportunities and facilitate the delivery of tailored HPGE offerings.

The benefits

Work will include:   

  • school entrance refresh  
  • upgrades to 2 science laboratories and a preparation room   
  • food technology classroom upgrade  
  • upgrades to 2 woodwork rooms and storage to support the vocational education and training (VET) program  
  • Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) classroom upgrade   
  • music room upgrade  
  • library and hall upgrade.
