Bayanami Public School completed project

The new Bayanami Public School (built on the existing old King's School site) is now finished and operational to meet the needs of the student community. Bayanami Public School is designed to accommodate 1,000 Kindergarten to Year 6 students.

 

The benefits

  • 40 flexible learning spaces.
  • A library.
  • Administration/associated support spaces.
  • A new hall.

The adaptive reuse of this unique Parramatta heritage site as a new public school will greatly assist in meeting the anticipated growth and future demand in the vicinity of the Parramatta City Centre and the North Parramatta urban renewal.

Facilities including the oval and hall will be shared with the public and local arts groups when not being used for school purposes. The oval will also be utilised by adjacent Government schools for sports programs.
