Tender for Glebe Public School markets opens

Glebe Public School weekend markets will soon have a new long-term operator after a tender process opened today.

The Expression of Interest tender process will identify a long-term operator after Chourlartons Australia was given an interim licence earlier this year to operate the markets.

The interim licence ensured continuity and certainty for both the local community and stallholders as the Department prepared for the process to secure a long-term operator via a formal tender process.

The markets have been a mainstay at Glebe Public School for more than 30 years and help bring the school and wider Glebe community together. 

Applications close at 10 am on Thursday 26 October 2023.

The preferred proponent will be announced by the end of 2023.
