Upgraded Bolwarra Public School to open this week

Release date: 26 January 2019

Bolwarra Public School students will be learning in state-of-the-art facilities when they return to school this week thanks to a multi-million dollar upgrade.

The project provides 10 new permanent classrooms, a new library, an upgrade to the administration building and major improvements to play areas for students to enjoy.

All classrooms will be air conditioned as part of the NSW Government’s Cooler Classrooms program that is seeing air conditioning delivered in thousands of classrooms across the State.

This upgrade is in addition to the upgrades being delivered at Ashtonfield and Rutherford Public Schools.

Bolwarra Public School is one of 17 new and upgraded schools opening across NSW for the first day of the new school year.

The NSW Government is investing $6 billion over four years to deliver more than 170 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW. In addition, $847 million is being spent on school maintenance over four years.
